Yesterday i lost my glasses. And decided to document my frustration until……… I really wish this was planned, but i gotta admit, I took a big L.

Tbh I’m really sick of cis women talking about creating all women spaces and saying “Oh yeah, and gay guys are invited obviously” before even considering or mentioning trans women.

I. Do. Not. Want. Gay. Men. In. My. All. Women. Spaces.
Women? Yes. Trans women? Yes. Gay women? Yes. Bisexual women? Yes. All women? YES.
Men? No.
Regardless if they’re gay men, this is not a space for them. I couldn’t give a flying fuck who they’re sexually attracted to. That hasn’t stopped cis gay men from shutting down conversations or taking them over, or from behaving inappropriately and unsafely towards women.
Women need safe spaces where we can be women and talk about what’s important for and to us. Women need all women spaces.
Trans women more than welcome.

Additionally, gay men…aren’t women?? They shouldn’t be equated with women. That’s kinda shitty to both groups.
Gay men experience oppression due to their sexuality but that doesn’t mean they can relate to women’s issues or that the two issues are the same thing
When Brock Turner, a former student at Stanford University in California, was sentenced in June 2016 to only six months for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman, many people were understandably outraged. And they were even more angry when Turner was released on September 2nd after serving only half of his already meagre sentence.
In response to this miscarriage of justice, Yana Mazurkevich, a 20-year-old student at Ithaca College in New York, decided to create the photo series you can see below. The project, titled “It Happened”, was made for a sexual assault awareness media platform called Current Solutions, and as you can see, the message is pretty powerful. As Mazurkevich wrote on her Facebook page, “In response to Brock Turner’s early release, this photo series aims to continue the conversation on sexual assault, As well as to raise a huge finger to Turner and his 3-month jail time.” (Source)

A 22-month-old female scaredy cat tiger appeared to get the shock of her young life when she encountered a dead leaf floating on a pool of water in the Bandhavgarh National Park, India. Clearly unusure about just what was approaching her, the partially submerged youngster’s tail shot up in the air and with teeth bared she let out her most fearsome growl - all in an effort to scare the humble leaf away.

Vet clinics often have litters of kittens to raise. Either they’re too young for a shelter, too sickly, or the clinic intends to adopt them out when they’re big enough. Whatever the reason, nurses often end up raising kittens and giving them ‘temporary’ names.
The intention of these temporary names is that if you give the kitten a stupid name, you have something to call it other than ‘the middle black male’, but because it’s a stupid name you wont get emotionally attached and end up keeping it. Again.
Which is how some nurses end up with cats that have names like ‘Flea bus’ and ‘Trash bag’.
